Organic Skin Care & Waxing

~ Frequently Asked Questions about Waxing~

Why is waxing better than other depilation forms? Because every time you get a wax, your hairs become weaker, making the process easier and faster with time. Your skin will feel and look softer than using any other depilation method.

How often do I need to get the waxing done?

Every 2-3 weeks. After time, you may not have to wax nearly as often, this varies from person to person.
How long does the hair need to be to get a Brazilian or a Bikini wax? Hair needs to be at least 1/4 inch long, about 1weeks growth varying person to person. This length is perfect for the wax to quickly and easily remove the hair with little discomfort.
When will the redness and sensitivity go away? The redness and sensitivity can either take 40 min and up to 24 hours to go away.
Does waxing hurt less the second time? Absolutely, as long as you don't wait more than 4-5 weeks. The second time around the hairs is shorter, thinner and sparser not giving the hair a the chance to fully mature it self. Thus, making the removal much less painful.
Does waxing help prevent ingrown hairs?Yes, waxing helps prevents ingrown hairs, but some us have serious problems with ingrown hairs. It is recommended that you exfoliate the area daily with a scrub or a exfoliating glove. Also, there is a product called "Tend Skin" that is applied daily to help prevent ingrown hairs. For those pickers, do not pick... you will scar!!!
What is the difference between a "Bikini Line wax" a "French Bikini wax", and a "Brazialian Wax" ?A bikini line wax removes unwanted hair on the outside of your underwear line and a little bit further if you'd like. A french bikini is a modified version of the bikini wax but not yet a brazillian. A Brazillian removes any uwanted hair from front to back.
